In view of her present condition, probably brought on by the heat, it has been decided to leave Tenshinramman on the sidelines for the Shion Stakes. This is naturally very disappointing, for she would have been in with a strong chance of winning the race, which would have put her on track for a classic, but her long-term health has to be put first.
At least Miracle Rouge looks good to run on Saturday, with Hironobu Tanabe in the saddle - the chap that took Mistoffelees to a classy victory the other day. Tanabe-san should also guide Mosto Verde around Nakayama for the third race (1200m dirt) on either the 7th or 8th. Confirmation will come on Thursday...
