It was so nice to see a glimpse of the Tenshinramman of old today. Starting as sixth favourite, she came home in fourth, having been pipped at the post by an extremely fast-finishing nag that seemed to come from nowhere. Had the pace played into her hands a bit better, and Ebina-san hadn't had to contend with a wall of horses coming into the final straight, this could have been a seriously good comeback. As it is, especially considering she was a touch porky, I think we can all be happy with the result, top three or not...
Other big news just in - Raining Dollars came a valiant second at Oak Park with Graham Watson at the controls. He's certainly starting to settle now, and should be a real contender as the year goes on. Well done to everyone at JLH! And good to see Graham get back in the saddle so successfully, too, after his nasty spill with Pretty Gully the other day.
